GPS Navigation DVD
  Most vehicles equipped with GPS Navigation use a navigation DVD which we supply with the vehicle. If the vehicle is returned without the navigation DVD the renter will be charged for a replacement DVD. The price of the DVD is approximately $2500. So please do not remove the DVD from the special DVD player. Thank you.
 
Drivers license check
  You need to know that we reserve the right to electronically check the (first time) renters' drivers license. The only information we are able to access is DMV information which is public knowledge. There is a slight charge for this procedure. Depending on the state, the charge can be $10-15.
 
Pet Hair, Dirt, and Odor
  Our policy is clear and simple. No one wants to sit in a car that has pet hair or odor in it. So please do not carry dogs or cats in the vehicle. If you must, they cover the area where your pet is going to be. If the vehicle comes back with pet dirt or odor, You WILL be charged an additional charge for cleaning and deodorizing the vehicle. The charge is a minimum of $50. Please be considerate. Thank You
 
HOLIDAY RATES MINIMUM CHARGES
  DURING A 2, 3, OR 4 DAY HOLIDAY PERIOD, UNLESS WE SPECIFICALLY WRITE OTHERWISE ON YOUR CONTRACT, THE RATE QUOTED TO YOU WILL NOT CHANGE IF YOU DECIDE TO RETURN THE VEHICLE PRIOR TO THE DATE/TIME PRINTED ON YOUR CONTRACT. FOR EXAMPLE: IF YOU RENT A VEHICLE DURING THE THANKSGIVING 4 DAY HOLIDAY PERIOD, YOUR RENTAL CHARGE WILL BE THE SAME IF YOU KEPT THE VEHICLE FOR 1, 2, 3, OR 4 DAYS. HOLIDAY PERIOD INCLUDE LABOR DAY, MEMORIAL DAY, THANKSGIVING, 4TH OF JULY, CHRISTMAS, ETC.
 
Holiday Period Additional Charge Applies
  During holiday periods discounts and coupon specials DO NOT apply. Holiday rates might be higher than Internet prices and are NOT DISCOUNTABLE, and rates of vans might be higher than posted on the Internet. If your reservation is made within 4 weeks of a national holiday the posted internet price is not guaranteed, please call to confirm prices. During certain holiday periods such as Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Christmas and possibly other holidays, the minimum rental is 4 days. This means that if the vehicle is returned before the 4th day, the charge will still be the full holiday 4 day charge. Due to the many reservation requests during a holiday time, in order to confirm and hold your reservation, you must call in and give a deposit towards your rental. Without a deposit we cannot guarantee the reservation. For further information please call our office. Also, please note that during holiday periods, there is NO unlimited miles program. The rate that we will quote you will include 700 miles( some cars 1000). Any miles driven over the allowed 700 miles during the holiday period will be subject to a charge of $.40/mile. If you know that you will need additional miles, please advise us as soon as possible and the management might be able to create a special program for your needs. Thank you.
 
Rental Extension Rates
  f the renter decides to extend the rental period to a new date past the original return date on the rental agreement, this will automatically void any special pricing or rate that was associated with the original rental length, and the normal printed price sheet rental rate will then be applied to the total rental time starting from the first day of the original rental agreement. In other words; for example; if the renter was given a 2 day special price that included a certain % discount, and then decided to extend the rental to 5 days, then the % discount will no longer be valid and the total rental will be calculated by the regular printed price sheet price. Any exception must be given by the manager in writing.
 
Deposits for Luxury Cars & 15 Pass Vans
  Reservation Security will be charged at the time of the reservation, and prior to vehicle actual rental the entire rental charge will be charged. at the time of the pickup a security deposit will be hold on your account. That is 3 easy steps. 1. Secure your reservation 2.Pay for the rental 3. Authorize a Security deposit. Security Deposit very between cars vans and luxury cars.
 
Gasoline Refueling
  Our policy for refueling gas is very simple. Please return the vehicle with the same gasoline level as when you took the vehicle. The fuel level amount will be printed on your Car Rental contract. If you return it with less gasoline, we will charge you $4.95/gal used. So, please check your gas level before returning the vehicle. Thanks

Spare Tire and Jack
  Each one of Exotic Car Rental new York New Jersey Connecticut Philly PA vehicles is equipped with a spare tire (unless the vehicle has run flat tires), and a jack and lug wrench. It is the sole responsibility of the renter to replace the tire with the spare provided in case of a flat tire. We do not give flat tire replacement service. The renter is also responsible for the cost of the replacement tire. Unfortunately there is sometimes road hazard, but we cannot assume responsibility for the damage caused to the tires and rims. Please drive carefully and be aware of streets ahead of you.

Unauthorized Repairs
  NO repairs of any kind, no matter how large or small may be done to the rental vehicle without written approval of the management. If a repair is done without approval, the renter will be fully responsible for any and all additional repair work that might be needed in order to properly repair the rental vehicle and to brig it back to its pre-rental condition.

  We understand that travel agents have had a tough time recently with the airline carriers such as American Airlines, United Airlines, etc. where commissions have been cut back. Bicycle racks available. Many people rent cars that are not large enough to accommodate a bicycle. For a small charge you can take your bike with you. Simple and convenient.
 
WEEKEND RENTALS
  3 Day minimum Rental applies to all vehicles. Saturday or Sunday drop-off pays till Monday. Saturday or Sunday Pickup pays from Friday.
 
MONTHLY RENTALS
  Our Monthly rates being calculate as 4 weeks rentals. 30 days will be charged as 4 Weeks plus 2 days.

Driving Area Restrictions
  You CANNOT take vehicle outside following states: NY, NJ, CT without a writing permission from us. Should you drive outside a 350-mile radius without prior written authorization you will be charged .25 (or up to 0.75 per mile) cents per mile after 150 free per day and 100 miles on van and luxury cars starting from the beginning of the rental period and in violation of contract (even if you bought the unlimited mileage package).(.75 & Up on The Luxury & exotic cars) above the provided free mileage per day. UNLESS we authorize you in writing.

    ADDITIONAL DRIVER

    1:Must show valid driver's license.

    AIRPORT TAXES

    Many airports impose a tax or fee on off-airport rental car transactions which applies if the customer exits the airport using the off-airport company's shuttle bus. Image collects this tax/fee from our customers and remits the entire amount collected to the airport. The amount of the tax/fee varies by airport -- in some it is a percentage of the rental charges, while in others it is a flat, fixed sum regardless of the amount of the rental charges. If the Image location of your current rental is within an airport jurisdiction which imposes such a tax or fee, and if you used our shuttle bus to reach our rental station, this charge will appear as a separate item entitled Airport Tax in the pre-calculation of charges set forth in your Rental Agreement.

    If you choose to rent a larger car than reserved, an additional cost per day is billed for the larger car. If reserved car category is not available, you receive next higher available car category at no additional cost.

    CONFIRMATION NUMBER

    Also known as a reservation number, this number provides a guarantee for a certain car category for a specific rate on a specific date in a specific location.

    DAILY RATES

    Apply to all rentals less than 6 days. Image starts counting a rental day at the time of rental with one day being up to a 24-hour period of time.


    DRIVER'S LICENSE

    Valid U.S. or International Driver's License required and must be "in hand". No Learner Permits accepted. No photocopies accepted. Temporary licenses accepted only if for change of residence or replacement of lost or stolen license. If no photo, description should match renter.


    DRIVER'S LICENSE ELIGIBILITY

    Rental may be subject to a verification to determine whether your license is suspended, revoked or expired.


    EXTRA DAYS

    Daily charges in excess of a weekly rental.


    FUEL POLICIES/CHARGES

    The rate you pay does not include the cost for fuel. Starting with a full tank of fuel in your car at the time of rental.
    You can return the car with a full tank of fuel and pay only what it costs you to refill the tank at a local gas station. If not full on return, you pay for refueling.


    LATE CHARGES

    Image calculates rates based on a 24-hour period. Your rate will be calculated based on the return time you agreed to when picking up the car.


    LIABILITY INSURANCE

    Image provides minimum state financial liability coverage in the base rental rate only where required by law and under certain Rate Codes. This coverage may only be applicable if your personal auto policy provides no coverage or inadequate coverage.


    LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

    A valid U.S. or International Driver License required and must be present.
    If no photo, description must match renter.
    No Learner Permits accepted.
    No photocopies accepted.
    Temporary licenses accepted if for change of residence, or replacement of lost or stolen license.


    MAXIMUM RENTAL PERIOD

    On the 28th day, renter must return to rental location to request a new rental agreement for additional period of time. New agreement is subject to availability.


    MECHANICAL ACCIDENTS AND PROBLEMS

    Image customers in need of emergency road service in the U.S. and Canada should call 1-800-864-6102 for help. The call is automatically routed to the nearest open Image office. All accidents must be reported to the police and an accident report completed.

    You must also notify within 24 hours of the accident, and you will likely be required to complete another accident report for Image's records and your own. This report is for both parties' protection, and is particularly important if you have purchased a waiver of damage. Be aware that statements you make may be made a permanent part of the accident report. Remember to be truthful and accurate as your statements may be used in legal claims.

    Once you complete the accident report, you should be able to continue your trip. Be sure to save all original receipts stating the reason for purchase of parts or labor, and the amounts.


    MINIMUM RENTAL

    Any rental of less than 24 hours will be charged a full day's rate


    NO-SHOW

    charges a fee on the customer's credit card for specialty vehicles that are reserved but not rented, if the reservation was not canceled within 24 hours of anticipated arrival.


    OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT

    Optional Hitches, trailers, boats, handicapped driver equipment, and chains cannot be attached to a New York Rental vehicle except when provided by Image.


    OVERTIME

    Rates are calculated on 24-hour periods. Cars returned after the agreed upon date and time but no more than three hours after the precalculated return date and time will be charged an additional per-hour rate.

    Cars returned over three hours later than the precalculated return date and time will be charged the full daily rate or extra day rate depending on the length of rental.


    PICK-UP AT AIRPORT

    Shuttle bus service is offered at most Image locations.

    Bus service shuttles passengers between airport and New York Rental office. Look for designated pick-up area; buses may not be permitted to stop at all curbside points.


    PRIMARY RENTER

    Driver listed first on the rental agreement.
    This person will pay for and be responsible for the vehicle.


    PROTECTION OPTIONS

    You have several options to protect yourself in case of accident, loss or damage to the vehicle. They are:

    Using your own insurance policy on your personal vehicle:

    Some auto insurance policies cover rental car losses. However, coverage may vary. Be sure to check with your insurance agent before you travel to determine rental car damage and loss coverage and restrictions under your own insurance.

    There are some states that require auto insurance providers to cover their policy holders for damage to rental cars.

    Using your personal credit card:

    Some bank credit cards offer primary protection, in which case the card company will pay all damage or loss and not use your insurance policy. Most bank credit cards and charge cards offer secondary insurance protection. Secondary insurance protection provides benefits that cover any damage or loss not covered by the limits of your insurance policy. Be sure to verify what your credit card company will and will not cover. Never assume you are protected without getting the facts.


    REFUNDS

    If a renter plans to pay in cash, Image will credit the renter's credit card at the time the car is returned.

    If a renter has paid a cash deposit rather than using a credit card, the balance remaining (after charges are deducted from the deposit) is refunded at the end of the rental.


    RENTAL AGREEMENT

    The Rental Agreement is a signed Contract between Image and the renter. Requires the renter's signature and lists total charges and conditions of rental.


    RENTAL QUALIFICATIONS

    You must have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which you reside.
    You must be 25 years of age (or, in some limited cases, 21 years of age).
    Prefer payment by valid major credit card in your own name.


    RESERVATION

    Confirmation of a vehicle which is reserved for a customer at a particular location, on a specified date, at an agreed upon price. Cars are reserved by rate code/car category. Advance reservation required: To call Image, the toll-free number in the U.S. is 1-800-864-6102.


    RESPONSIBILITY FOR RENTAL VEHICLES

    holds the renter responsible for the safe return of the rental car in the same condition as it was rented, except for normal wear and tear. Unless prohibited by state law, a renter may be held responsible for all damages, included loss of use, should the vehicle be damaged in an accident, stolen or vandalized. This is the case regardless of fault. Whether or not you caused the accident, you may be asked to pay for the damage up to and including the total cost of replacing the vehicle in case of a total wreck or loss. Be sure any estimated damage to the car has been recorded properly before you leave the rental facility.


    RETURNING YOUR CAR

    Give yourself ample time to return your car. While we pride ourselves on expediting the return, you may still need a few moments. Your car should be checked for damage at the time of return both by you and our return agent. If there is damage, you may be required to fill out a damage report. Make sure you take a copy of the damage report with you for any insurance and/or credit card reimbursement procedures.

    Expedited rental counter service for frequent renters.


    SPECIALTY VEHICLE

    Vehicle with special features such as a convertible, 4-wheel drive, Mini Van or some luxury vehicles.


    SPECIAL EQUIPMENT

    Baby seats, car or luggage racks are generally available. Please notify us when you make your reservation. The cost, if any, is usually added to the cost of your final rental bill.
